I have developed many skills during my studies in film and media production especially in directing and shooting a short film. I have furthered my skills in storytelling and have the ability to create a dialogue based script as-well as well as an AV script which is helpful for productions with more action the dialogue or when dialogue is ad-lib. My skills in cinematography have improved greatly over the last year, I can now use a camera to complete more complex shots and camera movements. I have the ability to use premier pro to not only edit clips together, I can also use premier to alter my video, by colour grading and effects which I used in my documentary project. I also have skills in directing short films and organising crew. The skills I have now mean a great deal to me as starting this course I had only basic knowledge in these departments compared to now where I have specialised knowledge in most.

The skill I have maintained and acquired have influenced my choice of my project as all are film concentrated therefore i believe with these skills I will be able to produce a successful short film

How I will Evaluate:

At the end each week of my project i will create a production diary this will allow me to reflect over that week's works as well as keep track of any issues that may occur, my production diary will be in the form of voice notes as it will be quick and easy to record as well as easier to look back on. For my end of project evaluation I will be able to look back at these voice recordings which will make my evaluation process easier as well as more accurate. Any changes in development will be noted in these voice recordings. Any big decision making will be recorded in the moment to keep track.

My aims are to complete a 3-10 minute complete short film that is abstract compared to mainstream media romance stories however there isn't really a time limit. I just don't want it to be below 3 minutes as I want to allow enough time for my audience to connect to my character . My other aims are for my whole film to be visually appealing and aesthetic

Working collaboratively with a crew will impact my short film positively as it will allow for me to focus on my chosen sectors as well as making shooting days far more simple and run
